I don't know how many of these count as indie but whatever.

Guacamelee
Rogue Legacy
Shovel Knight
Journey
Don't Starve

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Don't play a lot of indies but I really liked Fez, Outlast, Guacamelee & Super Time Force.

vvvvvv, guacamelee, shantae, braid, rush

I'm looking forward to all the titles you are except SOMA. Not a fan of that genre.

Playing Ether One right now and enjoying it a lot. The only thing that stops this from being great though is that it's a buggy mess compared to the PC version. Recent patch seems to shave solved a lot of the issues.

Another great indies that stick in my memory are Braid and Limbo. Braid for being one of those pleasant surprises. Didn't know what the fuss was about as it just looked like a pretty average 2D platformer, until I played it.

Limbo for the art design and the twisted ways to die.

I'm interested in what it is that makes Braid a pleasant surprise. I thought it was just a 2D platformer too, so what is there that makes it a surprise? (if you can tell me without giving too much away)

How clever the puzzles are.

I did a review on it http://www.gamingcapacity.com/braid/

I enjoyed Mark of the Ninja.

it's not among my favourites, since the puzzles can be pretty hard to figure out and I got stuck a couple of times.
Still it introduces smart game mechanics (time-related), has great level design, an atmosphere that reminds me of Alice in Wonderland and an ending that is worth playing or watching as it changes basically the whole story of the game.
Definitely worth playing, but as I mentioned it can get pretty frustrating. Never forget that YouTube is your friend in such cases.

That has me interested. I might just pick this up at some point, thanks.

Is Ori and the Blind Forest an indie title?

Also, Shovel Knight, To The Moon and Transistor.
