Dear god. You're all over the place with your logic. What the hell does sales have to do with anything?  Given the fact that the install base is substantially higher on the PS4, clearly there will be more million sellers. 

You claimed 3rd party offerings are better, I advised that they are similar in quality. 

sales wasn't a criteria for anything I just didn't want to list every title ever made.

If you think all the games on ps3 at the same point in time are equal to the offerings available on ps4. That's your prerogative. I just whole-heartedly disagree.

SCE was more like MS in the current generation when it came to adding features to their platform, presumably in the interest of recovering marketshare.

In the current generation, SCE has not diverted as much attention to creating an all in one media box that plays everything which seems to be a winning strategy despite complaints from a minority of consumers.

I'll say I'm less enthusiastic about the PS4, but that has more to do with being less enthusiastic with the game market all around this generation. After years of buying a new console or platform every year, I have no intention of buying a Wii U ever and will not likely buy an XBO, even after the inevitable hardware redesign (to something less gigantic and less of an eyesore) and price drop despite having an early interest in the console as a secondary platform.

PS4 and PC will probably cover me for the next 4-5 years.

Lol. I'm not mad at all. I don't believe they are equal, just with 3rd parties the offerings are similar. 1st party and exclusives are a step above last gen compared to this gen. The critical acclaim comparison supports my argument. 

At the end of the day it does come down to personal tastes. Hopefully 2016 will be more fruitful for Sony exclusives than this year.
