Wiiu is where I said it would be , but still not that great.

guess that says a lot for the jpn market

May is a poor month for all regions

Splatoon is the winner here, i bet without Splatoon Wii U will not have that kind of sales boost.

and WTF Xbox One games finally on charts lol, Yeah Psycho Pass. To bad the second season on Anime is suck.

That's all? So much for being a system seller.

That is a system seller, sold up 150% WoW

Great numbers for Splatoon. Love seeing new IPs doing so well. Bring home great numbers WW now!!!

of course not. When a game release, there is some kind of boost. Or am I talking something wrong here?

Counting bundled/unbundled copies are difficult. It's pretty safe to say that Knack would have only done 10-20% of its FW had it not been bundled, but discounting isn't quite right because there are other games in that list that also had/have bundles.

Yes, the difference is that Knack wasn't released in stores iirc, the only way to purchase it on its opening week was to buy a PS4 as the game was bundled with every system during its lauch.

For something like Dragon Quest Heroes or New Super Mario Bros U, we can't say for sure, but all of those 322k units of Knack were bundled.

I was speaking more to lifetime sales. You are definitely correct for the FW comparisons.

It did get a retail release later, btw, but it likely sold next to nothing.

I never noticed, but there were some Nintendo-fans (claiming to be anyway) banned that kept coming back with alts in the past, so could be.

Also, this post is me subtly letting you guys know I know what you were talking about. No hiding from me muhaha >:) .

OT: Wow, Splatoon sold almost 10 times what I predicted in that thread a while ago. But, I predicted before the hype exploded, so that's my defence. Glad to see my scepticism was unfounded. Crow is good when cooked right .

WiiU decent boost, but 3DS is really on it's last legs now. Mario Kart 8 over a million is good and even an XBox One game is one the charts. It's so weird, where did that come from ?!

damn just 145k spatoon sales
i predicted between 150k and 200k

to less units shipped

Just 3 days and with shipment problems. It will have a great second week.

It might have a great 2nd week relative to most game's second weeks, but it will still have an expected 2nd week drop of substantial proportions (50% or more). Most games only get 1-3 days of sales on their opening week, so 3 days for the first week means nothing in terms of second week sales. Only the shipment issue can have an effect and that's only if a large proportion of people who wanted it first week didn't get it. I'm picking that 6.5% of the Wii U install base buying Splatoon week 1 is a high % of the install base for a new IP, which means there probably isn;t all that much carry over demand from people who wanted it week 1 and couldn't get get it. Week 2 should be 75K or less. Wobbly legs (or failure to resupply) if it drops below 40K.

Good start, and a decent boost for hardware.

I predict under 40,000 next week, but not, will have massive legs even if will have this drop.
