After last year, my expectations are pretty low. Instead of chips and an energy drink, going with booze and...well, probably chips.
Not too hyped for the E3. The last three years my most anticipated games already launched by the time E3 comes. It is still fun time as it is exiting to see everyone exited.
Hoping for at least one genuine surprise announcement. Everything gets leaked and if not that you get random teaser sites like what happened with Fallout 4 today.

I don't know. I feel like the failure of Halo MCC has rubbed xbox fans the wrong way as far as excitement for Halo. I guess they could be pumped for other games (gears?) just as much. I will say Nintendo has been reving up the engines and getting us excited lately due to the Japan and Western Mini directs in the past week (we all think it points towards a LOT of announcements at E3, otherwise they just intentionally shortened their presentation which they wouldn't do).

Nintendo things don't really leak so we still get wonderful surprises by the bucketload every E3 and, on most occassions, during Directs.

The bolded is true - but you should have seen Xbox Empire before it got shut. People want some seriously impressive revival of old IP, alongside a hefty amount of new IP, on a scale that simply isn't going to happen sadly.
