It isnt but yeah it sucks and its stupid to fill artificially their planning with timed exclusive from gamers pov, it kills their credibility, anyone with a bit of common sense would prefer getting the same game multiplatform since it will be anyway + an other real exclusive on One instead to fill the exclusive planning

Well at least, it will let me the time to discover the first one, i had it on PS+ but too lazy to play it

This thread is in Microsoft discussion. This is about a game that is only confirmed to be coming to Microsoft platforms.

It has been publicly stated that the game's exclusivity is timed.

Debates about what time period that will be, and whether it refers to the game coming to just the PC, or potentially are platforms, have merit. However, they have merit elsewhere, not in this thread - which again is solely about the game, new trailer for its appearance on Xbox platforms and box art.

So, if you wish to discuss other things, please do so in one of the many other threads available on this subject, and in a more appropriate forum section.

I'll admit the trailer didn't do anything for me, but the box art looks pretty good.

Could be that they're prepping for Windows 10 and the Xbox applet, thus integrating PC into their Xbox brand. I don't doubt that the 360 version is still kaput. I'd hope so for a 2015-2016 launch; no need to support the 360 that late when fans had fairly poor support from 2011-2014.  

Being an exclusive already concerns all players from PC and other platforms, so it's common/normal to see comments about their need to play the game... on their platforms (which will eventually happen), even if it's in Microsoft's area.

OT: Anyways, I liked the trailer, but coudn't identify if there were some gameplay parts of if it was entirely a CG. I'm curious to see how the gameplay looks like at the MS show. In fact, I'm getting hyped to E3 as a whole these last days. o/

I've never played a full Tomb Raider game. Came out between playing or I was busy doing other things, or didn't have the format. One of my friends goes nuts for it.

Looks like game made for next gen - I hope the trailer is close to engine.

Looks glorious! Timed exclusive or not, this should make Xbox gamers very happy.

Typical trailer but very nice box art. I really loved TR2013 and that's coming from a huge Tomb Raider fan since day 1.

No game or reboot will ever create the same feeling and atmosphere TR1 and 2 were able do do for me. Me and Lara alone, solving the mysteries of old egypt (which I am also a big fan of). The old Lara days are done, as many games of this time. I closed this chapter, went on to TR2013 and didn't even expect a game like the "old".  I was surprised by the game and hope to see gameplay at E3.

Its timed, but knowing Microsoft it will not be for a short period of time. They have a long history of long timed exclusives unlike Sony and that one GTA contract. Microsoft has no Uncharted so they took someone elses. You know how they work.
