Since we know that Microsoft is hard at work on Project NEON, an all-encompassing design refresh focusing on translucency, we've been wondering whether Xbox would see the same visual design refresh in the future. It now appears that Project Scorpio could have something else entirely. Microsoft watcher h0x0d recently discovered a LinkedIn profile that directly references not only Project NEON, but a new "Motion" design language destined for Project Scorpio. The Xbox One is currently using the MDL2 design language, typical of Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile. The Software Design Engineer even links to our own article on Project NEON, while discussing a new "Motion" design language for Scorpio. He also talks about how Scorpio's 6 TF of computational power will benefit Project Scorpio's visual interface.
I'm currently prototyping Xbox Scorpio Motion Design language, which is targeting Holiday 2017. What are we going to do with 6 teraflops of graphical processing power? Find out next year on Christmas morning ;) I've previously speculated that Scorpio could have the same interface as the Xbox One, but it appears that Microsoft has plans to use Scorpio's horsepower to make the dashboard look extra flashy. At this point, we can only guess what Scorpio's dashboard will look like, but the word "Motion" could offer some form of clue. Owing to internal Microsoft documents I've received, we expect that Project Scorpio will sport all the same UWP features that the Xbox One supports today, including background audio, and so on. But with the Windows 10 Creators Update, it's looking that both the Xbox One and Scorpio will also encompass Compact Overlay Mode to replace Snap Mode, and even file picker support for third-party apps. http://www.windowscentral.com/project-scorpio-motion-design-language |
I think it will be the same interface but i expect them to have a xbox scorpio area of the dashboard that has info on games that use to Scorpio power etc.

We don't know yet. Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, and Crackdown 3 are all scheduled for this year, but we don't have windows for any of them other than 2nd half of the year. |
Those games don't look to be ready for the next three months. I was expecting a cuphead releasedate by now :s. Some news about Phantom dust aswell and voodoo vince remaster coming soon...but nothing :s..

Campaign mission structure, not nearly enough cutscenes, couple other very minor things. Overall I'm very pleased with it. Like I said I don't finish the campaign yet but I am at rank 7 as of now. I'd say the game is easly above an 81/100. Even if the story takes a big dive. If this game is an 81 than the max rating a console era can get is about 85. |
I smashed Halo Wars Definitive Edition and onto 11th level in Halo Wars 2 on Heroic, so should probably complete Halo Wars 2 today.
Thinking I should have played Halo Wars 2 on Legendary, so much hand-holding. Haha.

eh I hate how these F2P games always overstay their welcome. But for some reason I can't stop playing. I guess because they're simple and you don't need keep that much attention. Already over 30 hours into Fallout Shelter, even though I have so many better games to play. Just a few more achievements though, I can already smell them....
At least I started The Division yesterday and also finally started the campaign in MK X.
No way red dead 2 releases this year.. Every rock star game has 6-12 month delay.
That said can't wait to see it on the Scorpio.

Damn Lol, I've seen a lot of bitching on Neogaf about some Halo Wars 2 levels being cheap hard even on normal, lots of anger about mission 11

To be fair I have been playing StarCraft for 19 years. I'm not new to RTS games.
That mission was pretty hectic. You need to be extremely quick and multitask. My tactic was Flamethrowers at the control point, snipers and kodiaks at range... And then reinforce with warthogs at areas under threat.
You could probably split up hornets and do it that way... And reinforce with ODST drops + Pelican Drops. (Halo Wars 1 ODST drop was better IMHO.)

I just decided to grab Halo Wars 2 :) I was planning to wait until mid April/sometime after I finish Zelda followed by Mass Effect Andromeda which both are likely to be very time consuming games :) but after reading some reviews/ comments I thought I gotta get it sooner :)
I think it's kinda funny that the copy I purchased is a Physical PC copy of the Ultimate Edition for £52, I was looking at grabbing the digital Ultimate Edition that's £65, All the physical PC copy is is a case/disc to install on Windows 10 if you want with a play anywhere key in the case. I will never use the disc as my PC has no disc drive anyway but I get the CD Key to register and download the game :D
How do they manage to knock £13 of the price by doing it as a physical copy when it's just the same CD Key but has a physical disc with it lol
