10 hours, nice. Wonder what the singleplayer/multiplayer split is? Hope we can do the whole 10 hours on singleplayer.

I really don't know how I feel about this.

Obviously this is a fantastic deal from EA - 10 hours a full week out.

But I am concerned I will play 10 hours and then have to sit around waiting for 5 days or so. It could interrupt my momentum :(.

If possible I might just play multiplayer.

Or just pace yourself lol.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

Yeah, I was going to say before; those documents were dated around the time MS announced Scorpio, a lot has happened since then so they could have easily decided to change some things. We won't really know either way until MS stops beating around the bush and shows off Scorpio. Also the fact that Phil said he just barely got around to playing an "early" Scorpio unit tells me specs were probably just barely finalized (heck they still not might not be final) some what recently. Anyway, I digress

I will post my theory here cause why not

So the ps4 pro has more or less 3 modes with the devs that care enough

1080p high detail
1080p performance
1440p-1800p checkerboard with ps4 graphics settings

So maybe what Scorpio might have for the devs that care enough is

1440p high detail with checkerboard
1440p performance with checkerboard
4k Native with ps4 graphics settings

Note: high detail doesn't mean pc max, it just means higher than ps4

The reason is if we look at benchmarks for a 480 (Scorpio's GPU might be more powerful with higher vram, CUs and Memory Bandwidth)

It is capable of 1440p in optimized games and then we look at 4k benchmark

Well... 23fps at PC max isn't bad considering the card and what it's trying to do but lowering the settings enough to what ps4 has might be enough to make it run at 4k. But of course, it will be heavily game dependent.

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Play it the day before it comes out. 😛

Rumor mentioned 12gb so where would that put the Scorpio?

Well, it has to come at a package to really have any great affect since vram alone won't do it. So if it has 320GB/s (vs 224GB/s on 480) Memory Bandwidth, Higher CU (40+ vs 36) count and 12gb (vs 8gb) of Vram which is what I think the rumor suggested... In theory, it should be able to perform at least 4k 30fps Very High PC settings (which is essentially PC max) provided the CPU is up to snuff.

But again, still very game dependent since not every game is optimized like Tomb Raider
