That Halo Wars 2 blitz mode, with the cards or whatever looks fucking dumb. Figures they'd find a way to get something in there that would lend itself to microtransactions though. Can't seem to do without them these days.


Also is it just me, or is this years release schedule pretty barren looking? Not talking specifically Xbox here, just in general. Off the top of my head, the only games I'm currently excited about, and I know are releasing this year, are Halo Wars 2, Mass Effect Andromeda, Red Dead Redemption 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, and I guess maybe Injustice 2 and South Park if the mood strikes me and there's nothing else to play. So really, just 4 must have games, and 2 maybes. Wtf is that?

I think the last time I bought less than 10 new games in a year was in my early teens, when I wasn't getting enough allowance lol. There better be some more good games coming out that I don't know about.

Heard good things about that game. My favorite youtuber seems to love it too but i'm not really into this Harvest moon kind of games.

I mean... lot of Jap games, but you don't like them lol But yeah overall, seems a little weak sauce. I'm okay with that as my backlog is massive.

Does Sony has more exclusives? Yes, a lot more.

Is PS4 a better option for a gamer? Depends on what games you like, but in general I'd say yes. That's what I recommend whoever ask me what console to buy. 

Does that mean Sony is trying harder? Definitely no. Actually, I believe Sony is very lazy this gen when it comes to games. Most of these exclusives are Japanese games they don't have to work for because PS4 is the only viable option for developers/publishers there. 

It is OK to say PS4/Sony has more games  or a better option, but to say Microsoft is not trying is unfair.

 

Anyway, compared to last gen, I wouldn't consider any company "trying" this gen. This gen sucks.

I agree. MS seems to be trying, but they are not unloading all their ammo like they did last gen. Too bad the Ballmer era of financing and finishing everything even though it sold jack ended... 

Seriously, Phil's nice and all, but he's no Peter Moore...

Yeah I don't see the point of Stardew Valley either. I watched a Mike and Ryan let's play on it when it came out and they really liked it but I felt like I've wasted 30 minutes of my time just watching that.

I feel first party Sony has been pretty bad with it, and a majority of their games come from Jap devs who like you said just put their games on PS and no where else. Which is why I'm hoping Switch dominates Japan, because MS sure as hell isn't. 

Yeah I liked 7th gen much better :/
