I think Scalebound looked interesting BUT there was no way to know if it was actually any good.
I mean we saw that it was a technical mess at that time.
Platinum Games has developed lots of games for 3rd parties and some of them were amazing, while many others were only okay.

I want to believe Microsoft will continue supporting Xbox and are just developing their strategy at the moment. They're investing money in new hardware after all and just released a good chunk of quality exclusives last year. Marketing deals don't seem too beneficial to them so I can see why they're not doing those much but 2nd party games have been a struggle. Might be their policies, might be something else.

Xbox is the only reason for me to even like Microsoft. I can see it might not be important to that Satay Nutella or whatever his name is, but it's still a well-known valuable brand with millions of customers paying for Live, software and hardware and keeping Microsoft relevant to them. Am I making any sense? 😋

SoT is iffy it can flop hard or can end up blowing up. IMO they should have like a trial that have a limited amount of missions and $40 standalone game that has all content with yearly expansions and a few DLC packs every few months so revenue is goos. The yearly DLC should be $20 while packs should be $3-$5. If they go this approach i can see it selling decent but making MS lots of money which should keep Rare afloat.
