I got it tagged for now and usually post mid month when i've decided what to vote for and especially since the last 2 months all the games I was voting for released. I also try not to pick games to far away from release otherwise it just ends up boring with posting the last list for a year like some other do lol.

Battlefield 1 Mini-Review

Story Battlefield 1has 5 mini campaigns instead of 1 big campaign. Each campaign offers a different viewpoint and a look at several of the main fronts during WW1. 1 of the campaigns was just average, 2 of them were pretty good, and 2 of the were excellent. Overall, Battlefield 1 has much better story than previous main Battlefield games, about equal to the Viscaral developed Battlefield Hardline.   8/10
Campaign Gameplay I'd say that overall, gameplay in the campaign is pretty good. The tank campaign, which should have been one of the best, was marred by the most difficult challenges in the game. The airplane campaign ended up being my favorite, gameplay wise.  8.5/10
Multiplayer Gameplay Unfortunately, none of my main issues with Battlefield multiplayer have been fixed, and they've managed to add new ones. The spawn system is still janky at best, you are still sometimes forced to traverse large distances on foot on the biggest maps, due to a lack of vehicles, and it's rather boring. And Battlefield 1 has added a new issue, no silenced weapons, which means every time you fire, you're lit up on the minimap, and with 32 enemies hunting for you, death is often assured. Fortunately vehicle combat is alot of fun, which partially makes up for the multiplayer's other shortcomings. 7/10
Graphics Battlefield 1 graphics are fantastic, it's probably the 2nd prettiest game available on XB1 right now, after Gears 4.  10/10
Technical Performance Unfortunately, those amazing graphics come at a cost, framerates regularly drop below 60 fps (as low as the mid 40's) and there are occasional drops all the way down to 0 fps for some reason. Multiplayer matchmaking and load times are the 2nd worst I've seen so far this gen after Halo:MCC, matches regularly take 2+ minutes to load. I also encountered several bugs, both in the campaign and in multiplayer, including the common bug with the multiplayer class achievements.  5/10
Audio I can't say I was expecting to find one of the best soundtracks so far this year when I started up this game, previous Battlefield games had medicore music. But Battlefield 1's soundtack truly is excellent, I'd say it's the 3rd best game soundtrack I've heard so far this year. Voice acting is mainly good, with the exception of an Australian kid that didn't really have an Australian accent, and an Italian girl that didn't really have an Italian accent. Sound design is also quite good, everything sounds like it should. Cannon fire in particular is impressive.  9.5/10
Achievements I went into Battlefield 1 excpecting to steamroll the achievements, but they're actually a bit harder than I expected. A few of the challenges in the campaign are pretty hard even on Easy dififculty, and it's pretty much impossible to do both the challenge achievements and the hard difficulty achievements on the same playthrough.  8/10

Overall Score: 8/10

Battlefield 1 campaign was excellent overall. It gave me the feels for the people that i was playing as and I really enjoyed the storytelling. The Spawn system feels good. Even at the base spawns there really isn't much time to enter the battle and you can spawn near your squad members so you can jump right into the battle. There really isn't a lack of vehicles. Since there can be up to 5 people on tanmks i feel as if the vechiles right now are pretty balanced. I havent really expereicned problems with the fire sounds. Yeah the graphics are amazing. My favorite graphics on XOne. Sometimes i see frames drop but ive only expereinced frame drops that make the game really bad to play like 3 times and it was only for aa few seconds so performance wise its not that bad. Battlefeild 1 has my favorite soundtrack. Some of the achievemnts are pretty dumb imo but i guess most are challenging.

I agree with Shika on the music part. Fantastic musical score.

I am, on PS4. I wanted to get the Pro as well but I'll hold off a little bit on the Pro.
