I was just thinking, it's weird how both Dead Space and F.E.A.R. were killed by their 3rd game. It's also funny how both developers basically made the same mistake. Dead Space 3 and F.3.A.R. were both less horror, more generic shooter than previous games in their series and now both series are basically dead, Visceral having moved on to Star Wars and Monolith having moved on to Shadow of Mordor.

I found it quite sad to see both of these developers got thrown into developing licensed material rather than come back with a great new IP each, Would of loved to of seem them bring some fresh ideas to the table but working on big name stuff like Star Wars and LoTR is almost guarenteed cash and takes away a lot of the risks that new IP's bring with them.

Just a reminder, I still have a Gears of War Judgement Code for anyone who wants it.

Meeeee, I was gonna ask animeheaven but meh

Lots of great games in this poll but i picked RE Remake.

We really need a new Condemned.

To properly showcase Scorpio they need an Epic Games demo of U4 in all it's glory. Something that will or would eventually become a franchise just like Gears of War became. The Samaritan is what we need... do MS and Epic... fu*kin DO IT!!!

U4 sounds weak... They either have to convince Squeenix to allow them to use Luminous or Crytek to use CryEngine. They are the only two powerful enough to pull it off... Arguably, Bethesda might have the ability to overhaul id Tech and Creation to similar performance, but the first two are the only safe bets...

I'm not really a fan of horror games, but Alan Wake, Alien Isolation, and Metro are all excellent. Though of those, Alien is the only one that I think can really be classified as a horror game.

I agree. The way the game drags itself too much to the point of being a frustrating exercise of repetition was certainly horrorific.

I loved the first Dead Space. Nice atmosphere.

Metro was cool but I voted for Dead Space.

I vote for The Evil Within!

I voted Alan Wake even though I'm not sure if it's a horror game. But it's the best game I've played on that list. Fear and Metro 2033 are good too.

Actually, U4 is really powerful... maybe you get the impression it isn't because of it's versatility where any devs can build something with it and most of them are not pushing it much. I'd like to see Crytek release a demo as well... but Luminous engine hasn't impressed since they last showcase some type of FF a few years ago. But a FF like tech demo would raise eyebrows that's for sure.

I got it! I had to put in the code manually instead of clicking on the redeem button MS gave me. Once that was done I now have the gears collection! Its a good day
