Phantom Dust

They should just give Phantom Dust to Grounding Inc/Yukio Futatsugi who is the original creator and call it a day, don't make it out to be anything bigger than it actually is, It doesn't need to be this huge AAA title, lower budget AA title will do but Microsoft screwed the marketing on that one when they gave it a Blur trailer and Kenn Lobb or Adam Isgreen called it an JRPG with a 30 hour long campaign but we know the budget for the title was more like AA and Microsoft was unwilling to increase it after they were the ones who increased expectations among gamers, such a mess.

I feel like a studio has probably been working on it. Unlike Scalebound that got delisted from their youtube page the Phantom Dust trailer from E3 2014 is still up and Phil said it was still in development a few years ago. They should have a studio working on it by now and an AA- lower end AAA budget should do.

During Inside Xbox they showed a scene of people playing Halo 5 splitscreen and 343I is trying to reach out to MS to see how this came about. I know MS is a pretty large company but I still find the situation funny.

Yeah, beyond Halo Infinite and FM8; I'm not sure what could be launch titles for the next xbox.

The idea of 1080 console at 2020 is silly, in my opinion. It will only be harmful to the image of the console in people eyes. Imagine after 3-4 years of buying the console and people start discussing 8K and you're still playing at 1080 resolution on a 55" 4K TV you bought in 2019! And I don't know how the company is going to handle the PR after going from 4K in the previous gen to 1080.

It should be like this:
Lockhart- 4K medium settings
Anocanda- 4K high to ultra setting

The Lockhart should have the same price as PS5 or $50 less if it is a little bit weaker.

The more powerful console should be $100 more expensive than PS5 since it is... more powerful.

A question I have is when will Lockhart launch? Couldn't they launch it 6 months earlier than PS5 and Anocanda, sometime around March?

That's the only exciting part of the Xbox Inside episode IMO.... and it's 360 related.

Barely touched Fable 3 and SC: Blacklist so this is definitely welcome.
Also still need to earn some achievements in Fable 2.
Doubt I will play SC Double Agent ever again. Made it around 3 levels in but the game mechanics are just too archaic.

State of Decay 2 reaching 5 million players is great. Well deserved by Undead Labs. Bring on the Trumbull Valley DLC.

On the topic of launch games, I don't really think it matters. The PS4 and Switch only had 1-2 first party games at launch (and only one good game each with BOTW and Resogun). Third party games always carry the launch anyways.
I don't think FM8 is coming in 2020. They are just starting development now, they aren't gonna be done within a year and a half. It's Fall 2021 IMO. With Horizon 5 being 2022.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Nah I need Phantom Dust to be a AAA game. Grounding is not big enough to tackle this project although I would not mind them collaborating on it. Ninja Theory could be a good dev for it.

Klob might have hinted that Iron Galaxy Orlando is working on a new KI.
