22/21/17, I've played a fair bit this past week but my Merchant Alliance is lagging behind mainly due to people never voting on Merchant voyages so end up doing the others :D

I read around the SoT forum that you are bout halfway there by the time you reach 40/40/40. Leveling up gets slower the higher you climb. I think I'm around 29/24/26 now, can't remember as I haven't played for a few days.

We only started doing Merchant Alliance quests recently. For some reason we thought they're the least exciting faction but it's actually fun and you get plenty of gold compared to Gold Hoarders and OoS. And having those nasty snakes on board is an unpleasant surprise for enemies who infiltrate your ship :D

Hehe just beware, even though animals are not worth a shit when you are not on a MA voyage, some people will still try to steal or kill your cargo. We were attacked while cashing in golden pigs. We managed to fight them off and cash in all the animals so they ran away. An hour later we saw those cowards again collecting loot from a shipwreck. Payback time! All it took was a one well-placed cannonball shot to throw both of them overboard and then sink their ship. They had some nice loot to steal including a Captain's Chest so we got that achievement with little to no effort.

The first Xbox Originals game is on sale this week! (KotOR)

Where? I can't see it on sale.

https://www.storeparser.com/en-US/xbox-360/price-changes/game-116776/star-wars-knights-of-the-old-republic/

30% off.

I can see your confusion though. The MS/360 website doesn't show that it's reduced, but the price is still lower as usual.

There is a few decent deals this week all the Battlefield 1 DLC for £10 or the DLC+Game for £13.75 are very tempting and Firewatch at £4 as well.

I'm grabbing What Remains of Edith Finch as I missed it last time it was on sale and might grab some of the above later on.

Super Lucky's Tale still gets support. Do you think it sold well?

No. If it sold well then the dlc for it would get a little advertisement.

Overall: 203 achievements - 7,979G
(April '17: 247 achievements - 9,461G)

Decent month. Not much more to say.

Completed games: Korgan, Anode, 8-Bit Adventure Anthology, Watch Dogs 2, Albert & Otto, Slayaway Camp

Korgan is a F2P game similar to Diablo..... but way worse. The prologue is free but the rest of the episodic content will be paid. The mission design is the worst you could think of. There are 3 stages and those maps are terrible. Graphics are meh but at least the game runs smoothly. 1000G in 2 hours is the only positive you can get out of this game.
3/10

Anode has strong similarities to Tetris but still plays a little different. Technically you can't finish it since it doesn't have a story mode, but since I got nearly every single achievement, I will still put it on here. Once you get the hang of it, it's really not that bad. Definitely give it a go when it's on sale again. 910G can be achieved in 2 hours and 30 minutes.
7/10

8-Bit Adventure Anthology is sort of like a bundle of 3 adventure games that basically play the same. It's really old school and you will need a lot of trial and error to solve this without a guide. At least the games saves a lot on its own. Time doesn't track for this game, but it won't take that long with a guide. 2-3 hours.
5.5/10

Watch Dogs 2. Now where do I start.... The story is not interesting at all. Basically there are a few big internet companies and your team (DedSec) will piss them off. In every single main mission. Nothing else will happen. They won't even really attack DedSec or try to attack family members or other people close to you. And how could they? The main character, Marcus, has no ties to anyone outside of DedSec. No family, no close friends, no love interest. His life is fucking boring. He's just hanging out with the other 5 Dedsec guys all the time.
The companies will just defend themselves by putting armed security within their premises. And here I explained pretty much 80% of all missions in the game. Infiltrate a restriced areas swarming with "bad" guys. Flip a switch or two and leave. The first game was much better in that regard.
Money in this game is short, very short. Decent guns will cost ~$50.000 on average and during the whole game you will earn... about $250.000.  From this there are a few things you have to buy (Quadcopter and RC car). How are you supposed to buy more guns or even cars that cost $100.000 ???
On the plus side, San Francisco looks fantastic. Insanely good world map.
The gameplay is extremely good. Everything feels great: shooting, moving, driving etc.
Graphics are really really good. Shame that there is no 4k patch, as the resolution is the only thing holding this one back. Much improved over Watch Dogs.
Another thing that is improved is the police. Gone are these terrible searching areas that convincingly follow you while you try to escape. Lots of times you had to cheat by moving to the open sea to escape them at high level.
Overall the game is still good, but at a certain point you will ask yourself why you're still playing this game....
At first I preferred this over the first Watch Dogs, but as the game went on, I think the first game is more fleshed out. (
8/10

Albert & Otto. Poor man's Limbo with some digusting ethics. During the game there are a few sheep that you have to torture and kill to continue. That includes putting them on fire, feeding them to monsters and drowning them. This game is really sick. Other than that it controls rather well but the puzzles are weak and the game is very short. One hit will kill you, which especially sucks during boss fights. Skip if possible.
5/10

Slayaway Camp is a fun puzzle game in which you have to slaughter some innocent kids. Graphics are not realistic at all but have a certain charm. It also parodies a lot of slasher movies. Pretty good game overall.
