Every 3rd party game MS can secure needs to be shouted and shown about its capabilities over the inferior competition. Show your strength MS

Halo rpg or division ripoff is to massive of an endeavor for 343 to do while also making halo 6. And gears rts or xcom game doesn’t make sense for splash damage and those are likely to flop like halo wars 2 apperantly did. I’m expecting a 30-40$ Multiplayer halo game this year and I’m thinking a survival horror gears(similar to dead space?!) around spring for 2019. Expecting both to be revealed at e3. The leaker said the upcoming halo game had a very high player count and I think it’s this spinoff being referred to not halo 6. And for gears that’s definitely my hope. It’s one of the few gears spinoffs that actually sounds good.

I think this halo spinoff is a 2018 game, it would be pretty hard to keep it under wraps if the game was being made by a different studio like halo wars 2 was. I think 343 are making it. And because of that I think halo 6 is a 2020 title or later. Regardless if there is a halo spinoff or not we basically know that halo 6 is 2019 or later. I think it would be very unwise for ms to put it out right before Nextgen which is most likely 2020-early 2021. They did it with halo 4 and the Xbox one faltered and had to lean heavily on 3rd party titles early on(dead rising 3, ryse, titanfall). Ya most of their issues early where the forced Kinect/price, and always online bull crap but still halo 4 as a launch title would have helped. Even though halo 6 would be a crossgen title it would still be a killer showpiece if it launched with the new console. I also don’t think gears 5 needs 4 years of development time unless the coalition is assisting a lot with this spinoff. 

And ya I agree with you that a flood survival horror game would be better but I think halo could branch off into many different genres while gears is much more limited. Other than a survival game I can’t see a genre that would work for that series.

Well, well, well, looks like the tables have turned haha. Always was surprised when I saw PS4 instead of Xbox One in the fortnite crossplay article. Cool to see it. 

Can't wait to play Spyro on Xbox! Crash is trash though, so... I recommend avoiding that like the plague

Yeah not getting any of these sadly. Might play Sea of Thieves with the Empire since it's free with games pass.

Do you guys think MS will add or is adding a Battle Royal mode to Crackdown 3? I think it would fit perfectly for a game like Crackdown 3 and if they made that mode free-to-play? I think it would be huge.

I most certainly hope the Gears spin-off won't Be any survival horror crap. Not a fan of the genre and honestly I think it would flop. I'd gladly take a multiplayer-only game with new modes and Overrun.

So that was a very meh show. They can easily condense all of this into one hour, and get rid of all the twitter social crap. The sea of thieves interviews were great, but they could've been done all at once and not spread around

Also hold it at the end of the month so they can announce games with gold and new games pass games This will only benefit the show.

Ending on a positive note, I'm excited to try out city skylines for the first time, and freesync and auto low latency mode are good additions.

Its all about how you spin it, if you are excited about PUPG or Sea of thieves it was a pretty good show, excellent show even and that is the way they promoted it so I feel like they delivered a good show and its nice to see them bring some positivism about the xbox brand on the internet every month
