Well, the crying may have been because of the tribute to the developer on DoA who died last year, as well as because the guy is going back to Japan after spending 5 years in the US promoting DoA 5 tournaments. Might not mean the series itself is dead.

I really wish they had made it more clear, they were vague as heck with the wording, almost everybody seems confused by it. Better just be DoA 5 support ending, not the series itself ending.

Hopefully the release an official statement because everyone on the stream thinks the series is dead.

On a related note, I'd love to see them expand their collaboration with Sega and deliver us a proper DoA x Virtua Fighter next. Back when they worked with Sega to add the 3 VF characters into DoA 5 they said their ultimate goal was to test the waters for a full on DoA x VF, hopefully the reception was positive enough for them to do it. Virtua Fighter has been dead for so long now at this point I'd take anything.

Hmm, I guess neither of them want to count to six for some reason. If we don't get DoA6 or VF6, I'd at least take a cross-over between the two.

Yup. Soul Calibur was having trouble with it as well there for awhile, but they finally announced SC6, so there is hope.

I really can't understand their hesitation. Both VF5 and DoA 5 seemed like they were pretty successful to me.

I loved Virtua Fighter 5 personally, can't believe it's been around 11 years already since we got it.

Been out of the loop for a while so all I can say is...

FINALLY...

Guys, do you know how much space Ninja Gaiden Black takes up on BC? I am thinking of installing it but I don't know if I have the room for it.
