Yea it annoys me every time as the majority of my gamerscore always comes in the last 2-3 months that they never track so it ends up been pointless stats so Iwill just wait for the TA year review to drop :D

Soooo PUBG sold 1 million copies on Xbox in the first 48 hours... that's pretty cool.

Does anyone use the Xbox rewards much and take not of the different missions they have each month?

I've never really been a big fan of buying games digital and only really buy games that I know I will sink many hours into on the online side but this past couple of months I've been keeping an eye out on what the Xbox rewards offers along with the VIP Gems and monthly cash back and it's quite interesting.

I bought the Assassins Creed Origins Gold Edition for £59.99 which covered the amount you need to spend on the first part of the Family Face-off mission which unlocks 5,000 credits which translates to £4.24 then the second part of the mission gives you 4,000 credits (£3.40) for unlocking 5 achievements in purchased games and after that you then get 5,000 credits bonus for finishing up both of the previous parts totalling up to 14,000 or £11.88. Then there is the start level of your VIP rank that gives you cashback (up to 10%) on all purchases each month which for me is £2.40.

So after adding all that up my copy of AC: Origins Gold edition effectively cost me: £45.71.

Also another thing to note is Amazon UK always seems to have £50 Xbox credit codes for £45 so I could knock another £5 of what the cost of my game costs to £40.71.

There are also VIP gems you earn 1 per 80p spent and 2 per 1,000 GS earned along with a bunch of other various tasks that you may do without realising it such as GS milestones, 50k gives 200, 100k gives 500 and each year you get 300 if you've been a Xbox Live member for 4 or more years. There are actually games available to redeem in the 1,000 and 2,000 gem category that you could probably each one per year without doing anything other than play and buy games you would anyway.

TLDR: The Xbox reward/VIP system for digital purchases are pretty good and I never realised until recently :)
