I've only heard of Agents of Mayhem when some used it to downplay Crackdown. Haven't seen any trailers, clips or ads and I know nothing about it. Which is pretty strange if it's an AAA game and releasing soon.

This also applies to me as well.

Yea seems to be pretty much how it is, Only recently found out about it myself and looked up some of the gameplay and I think it does look quite good and I may grab it depending how I feel when it launches.

Around the Network

I was searching around the internet for cheap 12 month gold code as my sub runs out later this month and funnily enough on the Xbox One Home on the right side it says "You'll want to see this deal" So I clicked on it and it's an offer for 12 month gold at 34% off, So after all that messing around it turns out the cheapest place is actually through Xbox themselves at £26.50 instead of £39.99 :P

Yeah my gold ran out a week ago and after I few days I got a nice deal from MS. Unfortunately only for a month though.

Got myself 45 cores and now climbing Eden Tower :)

Damn... really anemic looking release schedule. Still better than what PS is releasing this holiday, but that's saying next to nothing. PS 2018 (early) looks stacked. MS needs to invest in more first party as oppose to these damn controllers...

@Bold: That's the 'Early 2018 Release'

I signed up to the Alpha recently, Noble convinced me with his positivity about the Alpha Hopefully I get in soon.

I signed up for it the minute you were able toand still ain't got in :(

What will they do with an Open beta , Think it will actually be an open beta for a few months and everyone can download and play or more of a 1-2 open beta month or 2 before launch similar to how Destiny just was.

Now I hope even more that I get in it soon, be funny if I got in it next week or something.

They need to time the Open Beta just right, I think/Hope it'll be a short-Ish Open Beta, Can't be too short otherwise it might not catch on, can't be too long otherwise people will lose interest, If it catches on with Twitch I think it'll sell good.

The game sounds and looks so early in development though so I'm expecting Early 2018 is the Open Beta and kind of worried it'll be in Open Beta for a long time...Then again if they launch it on Preview they can launch it at a cost anyway.

I really feel like it has to launch fairly soon as in a full release in Q1 or Q2 of 2018 at the latest otherwise I could see it been a Fable Legends where it gets stuck in an early access/closed beta stage and the developments cost end up so high that it would bleed money how ever well it does.

Tbf Early Access didn't exist on Xbox back then so Fable Legends had no way of making money out of it's Beta, Now Sea of Thieves can just launch it's Open Beta via Early Access and price it at a lower price than the final game which would give them an extra flow of money, I just see no way the final game is launching Early 2018 so that's what I think they'll do, other games like Gigantic have launched their Open Betas via Early Access too and people clearly don't care about paying for games on EA It will look bad on the studio for taking forever to release a damn game though, need to kick that 2nd team into gear.

Yea It probably won't but I just don't want to see them having some real long early access period where it ends up going way into 2019 before they decide to give it the full launch status especially since it was supposed to be a Fall 2017 release. Did they just overshoot the planned release or did they decide to put extra into development for a bigger overall ambitions for the game?

Give it a weekend long open beta in February followed by an early access launch in March for $40  then a full launch in June/July would be what I'd like to see. Not been in the Alpha though i can't fully get a grasp of how complete or lacking the game currently feels or how much of the game they are actually letting people play compared to how much is complete but not been put out there for testing.
