2015 has been a fairly mediocre year for exclusives on either platform. This isn't a knock on either platform by any means; it may just be a better reflection of what can realistically be expected of any platform.
Libraries are founded on third party support and cross platform titles. It's what allows consumers to play on the platform of their choice as opposed to having to buy a different console for a handful of titles on any given one.
Legitimate exclusives, (I'm going to outright toss out any timed exclusives here, which is one of the more aggravating trends introduced in the last generation) owned by the publishing hardware platform can greatly enhance a platform's library, and in some cases (Nintendo) even be the foundation for a library based upon individual consumer preferences, but generally speaking, they do not make one platform better than the other. At best they make one platform more suited to a specific consumer than another.
The differences in quantity or perceived quality aren't so great as to make either the XBO or PS4 stand out over the other.
Personally, I'd give the slight lead to the PS4, but that's subjective, based upon my own preferences in games.
