surely the money is there, but licensing, picking up all the work in progress aswell as the key staff for this could be troublesome

and then the fanbase is not all that large and could in parts already be in the PS4 camp - ofcourse that also means there could be more potential hw sales impact from this, if the project turns out really well, but it's a risk

I heard another rumour: Sony paid $2 billion to Sega to save Shenmue 3, Shenmue 3 is actually already 95% ready and is going to release in July. I believe the rumour because it comes from the source that told me that Sonys next console after the PS3 is going to be called PS4.

Most of the fanbase is on ps4, this move if it was true would be a truly disgusting and immature move. The real fans want this game dead, no one wants this with out the holy trio. 

I would rather this game be canceled for ever than to be moneyhatted by ms.

Hmm, that's actually not a bad idea. Pretty good actually, Alan Wake is pretty similar to Silent Hill now that I think about it. (Imo) 

But at billions it wouldn't be worth it still though. Silent Hill is probably worth 50 million at the most, probably even less. 

And who's to say MS couldn't get the so called "holy trio" to work on the game again? 

Anyway like I said before this rumor is highly unlikely especially since Silent Hill isn't worth anywhere near a billion (let alone billions) of dollars.
