This will never go away because streaming is where they're (Sony, Microsoft etc.) taking games in general. They want total control.

The thing is PS4 / Xbox One pretty much sells anything. Lots of people are ready to spend their cash. Game like The Crew passed one million in PS4.
As for me. My excitement died.
Yeah, the benefits are nice. There are no internet where my consoles are so I won't be tempted to buy it even when it hits the bargain bin.
