I honestly thought Germany was going to win, but couldn't bring mself to predict it.

This US side has been heavily criticized for focusing on results over style, but I cannot deny they had a game plan and kept Germany from scoring (penalty was really only major chance I saw).

I think whoever the US plays Sunday the goal will be to get a clean sheet and nab a goal. Four years ago still stings so all that matters is winning the World Cup again.
