Forums - Sports Discussion - Rugby World Cup 2015 Official thread New Zealand vs Australia in the Final!!!!

Who do you think will win?

New Zealand 73 41.24%

Australia 21 11.86%

England 9 5.08%

South Africa 14 7.91%

Ireland 16 9.04%

Wales 10 5.65%

France 10 5.65%

Argentina 18 10.17%

USA 3 1.69%

Other 3 1.69%

Total:177

Grreat win by the All Blacks. Aussie really only looked dangerous when they were up a man, and of course it too 14 minutes for Aussie to score twice with a man up. If Smith had come back on at exactly 10 minutes that 2nd try might not have happened, that's whyt I was so pissed when Milner-Scudder tried to get a long kick in instead of making sure to kick into touch. Smith had already been of for 12 minutes by that stage.

ABs let Aussie back in, though Aussie also played themselves back in. Buyt in a 15-15 match up Aussie never looked likely to take the NZ boys down. So massively relieved to finally get that back to back win and 3 time champion achievement. Would have hated 3-time champion to first go to a country where Rugby is a 4th string winter sport. That's just not right!

And, excuse the French, a big FUCK YOU!! to the Aussie and England media for being complete and utter fucktards in the way they wrote about the ABs this week. Everyone actually involved in the tournament from coaches to players to supporters to organisers have been brilliant, but the fucking fuckers from the Aussie and British media really lowered the tone and they should be told to stop being such fuck heads. The fucking fuckers should just fuck off!

Also, no one should ever adopt the not saying the name "All Blacks" approach again. It doesn't work. Sure I accept Michael Cheika's personal approach of always using the country name, but this was an edict from on high in Aussie telling players who normally do say "All Blacks" not to use the name. It was a silly attempt at mind games that only actually played with the minds of the Wallabies, negatively.

When it comes to Rugby they're always dicks. Though maybe this last week I might be being a bit unfair. I thought the British media jumped in to the All Black BM'ing, but maybe it was just all Aussie. I thought I remembered a Daily Mail piece that was total dickery, but maybe I remembered wrong. There was certainly a lot of media dickery around the Richie McCaw elbow that was not an elbow and I'm sure some of it was of British media making. But perhaps I should reserve my righteous outrage just for the Aussie media.

Totally argee, nz always show alot of respect to other teams but here in Australia they talk so much smack

Going forward with this thread i can tell activity will be very small due to not being many rugby fans on the chartz. Next season when international rugby kicks off again ill turn the thread into just a general "Rugby thread" where we can just discuss rugby politics 😛 and in four years ill prep it for Japan or ill make a new one, depending on what people want.

Also id like all rugby fans to look at the new proposed rule changes. There's some good stuff like trys give 6 points and penalties 2.

http://www.worldrugby.org/news/90108 here are the changes.

I think going to 6 points for a try and dropping penalties down to 2 has unbalanced things. Either increase the try to 6 or drop the penalty to 2, but don't do both.
