Mine turned up today, had it pre-ordered for £25 so took a chance on it. Hopefully trying it out later today. Got Kirby for £18, too.

Someone tells me why I can't preload this game


I came to eShop but it doesn't show up the purchase button

The reason why you can'e preload the game is probably because its not released yet, but the purchase button not showing up? That's a bit weird.

At Launch, hell no. it costs WAY too much. it is cheaper in every part of the world except for North America. For some reason the game is a full price game in North America while it is not in Europe, Japan, Australia, etc. Splatoon costs €39.99 in Europe, 5700yen in Japan. It is so much cheaper over there and yet, full $59.99 (or $69.99 in Canada)

€39.99 is $43.73USD and $54.07CAD
5,700yen which is $47 USD or $57CAD.
$58 AUD is $44.92USD $55.78CAD
Keep in mind that priced above this statement include taxes in their prices while the one below doesn't/
$59.99USD and $69.99 CAD is $59.99USD and $69.99 CAD

 

If I do get it, it will be when it goes in the discount bin or used.

I absolutly agree with the pricing. It should be about $45-50 in my opinion.

Another thing is that I doubt a Nintendo game will be put in a discount bin, so I wouldn't vouch on that :P

I got my copy of hyrule warriors in a discount bin... kind of thing. It was $24.99 :D

Oh wow. That's a pretty good deal!

Hopefully you'll get lucky and find Splatoon for cheap in the future, here in the UK I snagged it on Amazon for £29! :D

I would only get it if it cost about $5. No way is this kiddy ass game worth more than the Happy Meal my mom buys me for dinner every night.



I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

Yeah maybe for like, 20 bucks. No way does it justify a $60 price tag with so little content and features. I mean, no voicechat? Come on now, I could use voice chat on the Dreamcast.
