I didn't grew up with a Nintendo system, the first one I got was a GBA that a friend got me as a birthday gift in 2004, now said friend didn't got me any games and I didn't had money to invest in games, this was actually during the time that I pretty much left games.
Anywho, come the holidays and while walking through a gameshop I notice Donkey Kong Country 2 for the GBA, that's one of my favorite games ever and by then I had only played it by emulators, so without giving it a second thought I bought it, and well it wasn't that great but it was that port that got me back into videogames.
I had already gotten a job by then and got around getting plenty of games, the Super Mario Advance series, the other Donkey Kong games, the Pokemans, Final Fantasies, whatever, my friend and I actually connected a lot more after that, we got around lending each other games and such I actually taught her to play Donkey Kong, this song was always our favorite its so calming, beautiful even probably the best use of videogame music up until that point.
Sadly my friend passed away in 2008, this song always reminds me of her.
As I've said before, this is my favorite song in all of gaming, and that will never change. It expresses, perfectly, the sense of adventure, through inconvensional ways. Loneliness, sadness, and loss, while having a smile on my face. It fills me with hope. The adventure must go on and never end. It also perfectly matches the location where it plays. A desert, infinite and seamless, with nothing to find but yourself. Alone. (Which on another side matches the theme of Lanayru: Wisdom)
Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Its where in Chapter 18 of KI :U, I had the largest mix of emotions in the game. First confusion of what just happened. Then, sadness because it's all weird and the music is kinda sad yet beautiful. Then confusion again mixed with the thrill of the fights. Then excitement as you can fight as a character other than Pit!!! At the end once everything is cleared up I felt regret for doing a specific thing that caused the events and was kinda happy I know what's going on after 20mins of confuzzleness but also eager to help my fav character in the game.
I don't really remember E3 2005... Was Twilight Princess shown then? The Twilight Princess showing was 2004 though, my favorite E3 ever.
Of those, in the last ten years, I'd say 2010 with Skyward Sword and the 3DS reveal is my favorite one.
As far as soundtracks go, my least favorite 3D Zelda actually has my favorite soundtrack; Wind Waker Main Theme. It fits absolutely perfect with the mood of the game. The Live Orchestral version that came with the Skyward Sword Anniversary Soundtrack is godlike.
This will be forever where my adventure started. It wasn't my first game, or even my first Zelda. I can probably hum every single pokemon Gold/Silver/Chrystal track in existence and I have every single Professor Layton soundtrack. Still, when it comes down to it, this track is when it hit me that game soundtracks can be....just beautiful. Hauntingly so. This Island, this song, this game is where it all came toghether for me. Where I truly felt I was in this world, on an adventure.
@edit: It seems that I have to describe it, so let me find words for it. This OST is majestic, fantastic. It's so intense, it really beautiful with all those instruments and the chore in the end. My favorite OST from Zelda games and Nintendo.
