Forums - Nintendo - Splatoon Serving Crow A Little Early, Who's Joining For Dinner? (Aka Admiting Your Wrong)

I knew I underestimated its sales potential when it was first revealed.

Recently though, I believe this could be one of Nintendo's biggest hits in a while honestly(aside from MK8, Smash etc because those are guaranteed hits). Especially with how much they are pushing it.

Hoping for the best!

The only crow I'll eat at this point is that I didn't think Nintendo would actually advertise it, but they did.

you are predicting a 70-ish score for it on Metacritic.

I´m reserving a cute crow for you.

Yeah, too early for this.

Including Gameplay and impressions from Testfire?

Whut? There's no reviews or sales.

SM3DW oct trailer didn't have reviews or sales yet many crow were eaten. I was talking about Consumers impressions, not reviewers.

Ill still wait to see how well it performs (more sales wise rather than gameplay wise) before I eat that crow.

But definitely impressed at how far Nintendo is pushing it.

It will still absolutely bomb. No way it's gonna sell 10 million.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I still think people are harshly overestimating how well this thing will do. It won't be nearly as big as people here are making it sound. Not when it's U.S. preorders were only at 17K two months ago. By comparison, MK8 was at 71K two months before launch.

Bayonetta 2 had 44K two months before launch. Pikmin 3 had 33K two months before launch. This isn't a "sleeper hit." It's a sleeper. I don't know where anyone is getting the idea that this is somehow the "next Mario Kart" when literally nobody but Nintendo fans on internet forums have even heard the title or care about the game's existence.

If Splatoon needs 10mil, i cant even see how Gaming industry even profits any type of money :0
