That's reading an awful lot into a simple tweet they made of their own game.
Platinum Metroid doesn't make much sense to me. Let Kamiya make Star Fox or Murasame Castle like he wants to.
As long as it's anybody other than Retro.
I don't want Retro to be forced to make a Metroid game if they don't want to.

Not saying PG is making the game but a third person 3D Metroid need to be more action based then other Metroid games, even with the exploration the 2D games that it would be emulating are actually quite fast paced and action oriented.
I really don't want Metroid: Revengeance edition. Metroid is about exploration not fast paced action
Don't know what to say... And I don't know if this is good or bad for Metroid. ^^
As great as Platinum is, I don't really think they could do a Metroid game that is truly faithful to the series.
I don't wanna see another Other M, that's all.
