I can't stand what they've done to the Battle Mode in MK8. Which is a pity as I prefer battle mode to racing at parties.
Once I figured out how to do quick u-turns from reading the instruction manual I played battle mode a lot more and murdered online.
Rarely, if not, never.

:( I loved the old battle modes with a few friends! Circles ROCK! :P
Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.
It would be practically all I played if there were better maps for it. It was always my favorite part of 64.
I think more than 70% of my Double Dash play time was battle mode with friends. I have not tried a single balloon battle on WiiU because of the lack of arenas.
