Forums - Nintendo - Has Nintendo given any evidence that E3 will be worth watching this year?

That was a joke, as in that seems to be what they like to announce.

From what I am seeing the answer is,  no.

Star Fox is the first game to interest me on the U since Bayonetta 2,  and I have still never played that yet.

I was hoping it was, lol.

Not sure what you're expecting Nintendo to do. We didn't have any evidence that Nintendo's E3 last year would be good and it ended up being fantastic. Companies don't bullet point all of their games and showcases and publish them for everyone to see a month before E3. Surprises always happen.

This can´t be serious.

The excitement for me is what I don't know, not what little I know of already. This isn't an episodic show, this is E3 where surprises are the show. You should be happy not knowing anything they have to show us and figuring out at the end of the show what you liked about it. If you can't find the hype mentality for this year, then E3 has failed. That or you're just not into it this year.

I think for once in a long time all 3 are on a even playing field, or all 3 are on the edge of the knife so to speak.

They all know they have to show something good as well as something that will release this holiday period.

They haven`t really mentioned anything on their event. I`m fine with that though. I`d rather they show than tell. I don`t them to tell me to "Please be excited"... o:

Expect more info/release dates on previously showcased games, like Yoshi, Mario Maker and Xenoblade X (on the west). Also expect to finally see the reveal of Star Fox.

As for new announcements, most people are betting on Paper Mario and Animal Crossing; both sound reasonable given the info we have.

That's the "safe" part to expect/believe, but they can (and will) have at least 1 announcement that nobody expects, as usual. So, it's all set up to be a good E3 at the very least. I think you should watch it. :)

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

After Splatoon hits I doubt I'll be angry about anything. Looking forward to that game. Also I want to see the Nintendo World Championships. I know that its not really a world championships (I want Nintendo to do a global run) but to see it come back is excellent. Nintendo needs to pound the pavement again and shake hands and kiss babies. And shove controllers into the hands of the kids.

Well we already probably know all info/release dates for Yoshi (game coming next month in Europe) and Mario Maker, Xenoblade for West is only real mystery here.

treehouse is fun, and they will kill E3 like last year because they will show actual gameplay and they will show how much fun they have with E3.

oh and they show a e-sport tournament.

i think the surprise for me last year was splatoon, a young developed new ip from nintendo? whhatttt
