I never said that

Really?, because i swear I've seen you point that out ebfore, if not then it saves it being pointed out in the future from here on out.

Honestly though piracy is a bad thing.

It has its good and bad sides for gaming

yeah but it;s not a one way street in thinking it's good for PS4 but bad for everything else.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

This might be just a annoyance for Sony, however it could be terrible for gaming in Brazil.

Seems like PS4 will sell record numbers... and recover hegemony in Brazil

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Well depending on the easiness of the hack it might be used as fuel for more DRM such as always online, which sucks :/

Too early for a ps4 emulator, that would hurt the industry.

I feel like if your developeing a emulator, you should atleast wait until the gen is done.

If you're developing an emulator, you should start right now if you want it to at least run Sportsfriends by 2030.

If someone manages to run a proper Homebrew on the consoles, it will be a matter of months or a couple of years at most. Emulating the x86 hardware should be easy for the scene given their new fancy tools, such as hardware-assisted virtualization and Mantle. "Should" being the key word here, of course.

Gray market PS4 + piraced games = success.

Sadly the numbers won't exist, as the SW will count to 0 here and everywhere and the HW will count to 0 here and be counted to some other country.

Officially the XBO will probably win by a lot, even as it should end in 1/10 of the homes than the PS4 here.

Yep you are right in all the points, and sadly... well at least people will be able to indulce themselves on the great games available on PS4. Will keep buying my games, I enjoyed doing that on PS3 a lot more than pirating on PS1 and 2.

PC Pirates = Less money for developer , publisher , but normal income for hardware vendor

Console Pirates = normal profit for developer, publisher , and far more profitable for console maker/vendor

deal with it!!!!!!!!!!!!
Console even with piracy still far more profitable then dedicated gaming PC.

yas! it is true, right? I don't use the online mode anyways. I just want my $3 dollar gamer.

For the players.

Yep... PS1, PS2, X360 were heavily pirated, still sold buckloads of HW and surprisinly SW... PC while having a lot more systems WW sells so much less SW it isn't even funny.
