You do realize Pokoko was banned for making that statement right?

If that's a banworthy post then there's more wrong with this website than just a lack of numbers. And I would be very disappointed if that post ruined my unblemished record.

But I should say something on topic otherwise it does risk a ban. So, it appears that if the game sells well it will be very much deserved based on reactions from first look impressions. And it gives one hope that Nintendo console owners can support new IP to success, not based on characters seen in past generations; motion control craze notwithstanding. However I'm not sure how reliable Amazon is as a gauge of over all sales. Amazon USA is notoriously bad at predicting the NPD top 10, aside from the usual multiplat suspects, and that's the biggest Amazon website.

It just struck me as odd as how you made the exact same joke. I thought you just repeated what he said lol.

It was a series of comments that did Pokoko in, so don't worry.

Nintendo Hater Excuses - "It's only Germany! There weren't much anyway!"

And they are right... But look on the bright side! Better than nada. I wonder how much it will sell globally in the USA.

Can't wait for The Zelder Scrolls 3: Breath of The Wild Hunt!

It's always the follow up that gets people in trouble. Well not always, but very often.

It's going to do well. Not milion-copies-day-1-well, but well. The special edition with squid amiibo has been sold out in Belgium since the day it was anounced. I had to turn to Amazon (uk) to preorder my own copy.

The hype is real. Deal with it!

Wii U is saved! Soon it'll outsell the Ps4 an take the lead!

Why would Nintendo want that when they are already making profits?

Presumably so it can make a profit without having to rely on favorable currency exchange rates. Nintendo's doing better than in years prior, but it's hardly in a healthy position at the moment.

Companies can do right selling buildings and insurances. Favorable currency exchange rates counts too, at least for a couple of years.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

I remember a time when Amazon was considered a bad measure for a game's future sales. I haven't seen a baby seal picture in ages.

Perhaps, but having your business model bring you to profitability only due to the mercy of a volatile element outside your control is a terrible business plan. I can guarantee you that, spin notwithstanding, the folks in Kyoto were still not pleased with the numbers.

That's because previous generations were brutal enough to put baby seals on the endangered list, you monster.

What is so special about making a profit? Pretty much any damn company should be able to do that. Afterall isn't that the flipping point.

Nintendo should be making HUGE profits. Considering what they were making a few years ago and the relative peanuts they are making nowadays the shareholders (argh.. Uummh) aren't as happy as you are. They don't think "Oh,We are happy because of the exchange rate helps our piss poor finances look black rather than red".

No company or shareholder celebrates their profits being down 99%. Those that drink that companies kool aid do.

Yes, companies can be damaged by external influences like economic downturns but I don't see this having a major influx on Nintendo's huge losses.

Also Amazon/U.S. Splatoon ever since demo test has been in the top 40 and WiiU hasn't fell under 70
