What's happening?
Yeaaaahhhhh, I'm gonna go ahead and disagree with you on that one. All of them sound really good. I don't really dig the singing in the third one, but beyond that they are great and make me want the soundtrack.
Yeaaaaahhhhhh, I listen to a wide variety of music. In my cd player (I know, I know I still like CD's) in my vehicle I have Righteous Brothers, Akon, an 80's mix CD, Goo Goo Dolls, Michael Jackson and Imagine Dragons. In my case I have a whole crap ton of different stuff as well, some instrumental, heavy metal, motown, rap, blue grass, and more.
Yeaaaahhhhh, just because something doesn't suit your tastes doesn't mean it's bad.

Some of the tracks you posted are fine, cheesy, but fine. Its just Japanese music tastes are usually a few years behind the world from what I have noticed.
In saying that rap songs have no place in video games.
With the ONLY exceptions being Madworld and Anarchy Reigns.

Wow really? I could say the same about shitty punk rock music.
Different people have different musical tastes.
I personally really like the XCX soundtrack
They shouldve gone with a soundtrack by the genious that is Yoko Shimomura again, instead of trying a new song styl and hiring differeng composer from Xenoblade Chronicles.
The vocals are terribad, I take music in videogames very serious. This alone is reason to not me want to buy a game. I mean I was on the fance with Skyrim and bought it cause of Dovakin...

XC is by ACE+ and Yoko Shimomura, Yoko is a genious this guy is tripping. She is the composer on XC and the Kingdom Heart series. Ye she uses violins a lot, so what ? They sound awesome and epic. They shouldve had her back on X instead of using bad techno rap guy who never composed for videogames.

Opinions happened. There are two of those songs I find annoying, the others aren't bad. Still better than the Final Fantasy XIII soundtrack at least (even the songs here).
I actually love the music I've heard. It is an acquired taste though, kind of like Persona's music.
