They'll release the 31st at 23:59. And then they'll make an achievement called "Download Miitomo the month of its release: 1.000 MyNintendo points" XD
So I started playing Splatoon again after quite a few months hiatus (other games took priority) and boy have I been missing out! Game is so much fun. Been using the tri slosher and it's basically the game's shotgun. I still suck at precise aiming being as I am a south-paw shooter since goldeneye days so my right thumb is not nearly as precise as my left. Wish I could swap controls.

The art style is the thing that really kills it for me. I would expect a shooter for Metroid to be slower and atmospheric. Problem is this game keeps trying to build a slow, serious, dark atmosphere with characters that look like dollar store bobbleheads. And of course that proportion distortion effects the whole design. It's basically got the art style of a parody but all the humor of a funeral dirge, like the artists thought they were working on a totally different game from everyone else.

Good grief, this looks awful.
That horrid Chibi/Saturday morning cartoon art style ruins any sense of atmosphere. And yeah, the gameplay looks like an amateurish indie game on Steam or something.

It's a spinoff under most likely AA development (then again, Nintendo's AAA games aren't really considered AAA based on how some perceive, you know: high budget, pushes tech, etc.).
At this point, I can't properly judge without trying a demo or something.
Yeah, I think they definitely killed any interest I had on this game. The more gameplays they release, the more I think Federation Force is awful. And, well, maybe because the art style doesn't fit the game. I mean, how could try you do a slow-paced, atmospheric game with THOSE characters? It doesn't make any sense. I'm out, I should spend my money in something else.

Pokemon GO beta testing launches in Japan now, so hopefully we will get some more info on the game, but I doubt it..
