All new copies of Hyrule Warriors: Legends (including downloads of the game via Nintendo eShop) will come with a download code that allows Wii U owners to download Linkle, Skull Kid, Toon Link, Tetra, King Daphnes and Ganondorf’s trident weapon into Hyrule Warriors on Wii U.

Free downloadable character: Medli

You can download the playable character Medli from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD for free on both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS family systems, regardless of whether you have previously bought DLC or a Season Pass. Medli will be available to download when The Master Wind Waker Pack (DLC Pack 1) launches.

Does this Season Pass come with the 3DS characters? I'm really interested in them, and obviously I won't buy a new game for those characters... 

Not sure but it seems the DLC is for both platforms.

Hopefully it does, because that Wii U pass would not be worth it without the characters.. :/

Really want to play with the new characters, though I'm not sure if I will get this DLC pack..
