Well, I got what I wanted; release dates, new info, and new footage for Tokyo Mirage Sessions and Starfox, no time wasted on Pokken to TPHD.

Decent Direct in my book.

I think that the reactions were best in this Direct in general, based in comments. And now I'm making my gaming calendar and I'm happy about it. So, until the E3, I'm interested in:

- Twilight Princess:HD and Pokkén this month.
- Star Fox: Zero and Yokai-Watch on April.
- FE: Fates (Special Edition, of course) in May.

So, 5 games in 3 months looks good to me.

Then we have:

-Federation Force (yeah, I liked it!)
-Monster Hunter: Generations
-Dragon Quest VII
-Paper Mario (though I'm not convinced at all with it)

- MECHA-KIRBY!


I think it's decent enough.

Good read; I admit I am feeling better about SFZ now between this and the direct. Still not sold on it, but more inclined to give it a chance.

The return of prehistoric-dragon-planet Fortuna is a big plus for me, speaking as someone whose introduction to gaming was the SNES original.

Is there any games coming to Wii U between July - December 2016 besides Zelda? Hopefully this means that we are getting more in the next direct or at e3. Because seriously they are squeezing everything in March - July.

While I think disabling comments and dislike bars is juvenile whenever anyone does it, the reality is that, at this point, they have to release and try to sell the game.  My biggest beef is the art design.  I'm fine with side spinoffs.  They can be fun experiments.  But it has to maintain the aesthetic and tone.  This chibi look is atrocious.  It kills the whole tone and IMO ruins the entire potential experience.
