can some1 tell me, why the splatoon msrp in europe is so cheap?

59 Dollar
39 euro

every other Gamers are
59 Dollar
69 euro


if we take the Exchange rates into account, this 39 euro are even more less than 1 year ago
did nintendo expect bad sales for europe at 69 euro?

Whilst true I was initially planning on waiting until August around my birthday to pick it up. But I was in town and because of the good news recently felt like a bit of a shopping spree, and this was one of the victims.

As an aside there were two people in front of me also buying the game (one wanted the special edition though...) and a couple others I saw with the game on the way home. Seems to be doing reasonably well down here at least, which is surprising!

^Yes noticed that too. 3DS games should follow because the Splatoon price at least at Amazon is cheaper than new 3DS games.

After playing the demo, everyday I find it harder and harder to resist Splatoon.
