Exactly how I felt when I finished. It left a grin on my face for hours afterwards. :)

The game is really awesome. I mean, even the story managed to get interesting near the end... and there was some really crazy stuff on those sunken scrolls (the Judd one particularly, it was so sad).
This was something I was already feeling well before finishing the single player campaign, but I can now say with certainty that this is THE game a Wii U is worth getting for. As in, I don't actually think it's the best game on the system (still probably behind Tropical Freeze and Smash for me), but it's the one that actually realized the potential of the system. From the great motion controls, to the great Inkopolis hub with the Miiverse integration (by far the best miiverse integration I've seen yet), to having Squid Jump on the gamepad while you're waiting to play a game, and obviously the map and super jumping in-game. I guess one could argue most of these, if not all of these could be done on different hardware, but that's not the point - the game really feels like the full realization of what the Wii U should be at its finest.

Glad you enjoyed it so much, I really liked it too, more so than any game since Bayonetta 2. :)
And yeah, the backstory was awesome; despite its colourful, E-rated aesthetics, it's basically a post-apocalyptic universe where mankind is extinct. XD
