For all you Xenoblade fans, you should play Monolith Soft's previous game, which I think it's even better, though metacritic doesn't agree with me.

I'll agree that it's an OK game, but it most certainly isn't better; nor does it have anything at all which even resembles a shell of Xenoblade to it. If you see it cheap then it might be worth it I suppose.

A game that allows you to take down a meteorite with a shotgun is inmediately better than Xenoblade.

That's the best rebuttal you have, Wright? That you can shoot something with a shotgun? 

I expected better. You and I both know that Xenoblade has the better story, the more intriguing world, the better soundtrack, the better characters, the better gameplay and the better genre. And whilst Disaster is a neat enough title and fills a gap in the Wii's lineup; it's far from superior or even on par with Xenoblade.

Ha this race ended before anyone even crossed the finish line! Didn't make much of a difference here, atleast not for me, but I can imagine myself and others not being too happy if this happened in many other situations.

Nice work on the new thread.

Going back and forth on whether to preorder Splatoon. It is £29 on Amazon, very tempting but still not 100% sold on it.

I'm more worried about the longevity of the community. Pretty niche game on a console with a small install base,  makes me wonder how busy it will be a few months down the line. Hopefully the release of new maps down the line will help that. I'm 95% sure I'm going to get it though.
