Well, Switch trailer now has 20 million views. Impressive. Most impressive.

And people still think it will sell like the Wii U.

I've been playing Metroid Prime trilogy. The motion controls really benefit the game imo. About quality, well, I think they're all masterpieces. Can't find a lot of flaws in the games.

Yup, IMO Metroid Trilogy has best use of Motion controls, it feels so damn natural.

Yeah it's actually really popular. So many people of the "Pokemon GO" crowd (the uber casuals) seem to be buying it. My bro in law wants one and he's never owned a Nintendo console before... Well I think he had a Wii for a few years but who didn't

Heh, I remember when I was on the eShop about to pick up the game when it was $10, but then I remembered it had motion controls. :L

Yep, I agree. Motion controls in FPS games are a win for me if implemented well. I think it's the most comfortable choice behind mouse+keyboard.

Aaand, yeah, I get that you some people don't like motion controls, so I think it wouldn't hurt anyone to implement a standard controlle choice. The more posibilities, the better imo. At least for the first two games, which had that option on the GC.

This be why I'm hoping the Switch doesn't have motion controls, so that every game has to work with the control scheme everyone uses and that no game is held back by inferior controls. Let Starfox Zero be the last of it's kind.

Why not both? They can take a Splatoon approach. I mean, optional motion controls, not mandatory, and both well implemented. I'd appreciate that Nintendo kept motion controls in some games. I don't imagine myself playing Splatoon without them, tbh. I don't feel they are inferior in this case. Actually, they made me better.  And if someone doesn't feel comfortable with them, they can always change and play with the sticks.

Its THE perfect christmas gift.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Metroid Prime 1 beaten, moving into Hunters. Controls are a bit clumsy in this one, but is still fairly enjoyable. Never played it tbh, I don't think it's a bad game. Still waiting for a Federation Force price cut to see if it's that bad xD.

There were some preordering issues in North America, so it would do even better if that worked too :p
