But it does look markedly more powerful than the U, possibly in porting distance of the One.  So it could be a great way to compete in a less direct manner.  I do find the strong emphasis on the home consoleness of it by Nintendo interesting.  Contrary to many people's responses, Nintendo for now is not doing a fusion pitch.  They didn't show a single 3DS centered franchise.  In fact, they emphasized console focused games like Breath of the Wild, Skyrim, a more open 64 style Mario, etc.  My theory is they are biding thier time until the custom chip can be made much smaller and cheaper.  Then we will see a Switch Mini and that's when you'll see that true fusion pitch as the system will be small enough and cheap enough to draw in handheld focused gamers.

It looks like a noticeable improvement if Bethesda thinks Skyrim Remastered can run on it (even if it isn't "confirmed", I highly doubt Bethesda of all people would allow it to be shown if it wasn't possible).  Not to mention Zelda had noticeable graphical enhancements and that new Mario looked very nice with some excellent lighting.

Speaking of which, it's looking like more of a 64-esque 3D Mario, how do you feel about that one?

I was gonna buy the Switch regardless what it was!

I only game on Nintendo and PC. If I do have more money and time, then sure I would gladly buy a Vita and a PS4....... But I dont and I never will.
