The rejection of Super Paper Mario makes me so sad. I loved the mechanic of shifting to a 3D plane in that game. Purists be damned, I'm still waiting for Super Paper Mario 2! I expect we'll never see it, though. Really, any Paper Mario title would be much appreciated...though it wouldn't bother me too much to see them flip the switch and make a Paper Zelda or Paper Metroid instead.

Paper Mario and Paper Mario TTYD are my favorite games of all time.

I have concern that there is some sort of edict within Nintendo that because of the Mario & Luigi RPG series and its success, Nintendo has been trying to transition Paper Mario into a different genre since Thousand Year Door.
