Good enough for me.
I'm buying it pretty much solely for the campaign.

It was day one already before the demo, but it made me buy it EARLIER in the day
Especially how it releases here on A Saturday!
Edit: And how i was playing 2/3 hours of the demo with my 6 year old brother. And how he always wanted to play a shooting game where it isn't really violent. And he was doing pretty well with the splat roller
So this is a perfect game for him.
Pocky Lover Boy!

Already knew this was a day 1 purchase. Game just reeks of Smash n Mario Kart how it can be played for hundreds of hours, so easily worth the $60.

No way...based on the gameplay videos each mission takes 2 minutes to complete, that's a 1 and a half hr game including boss fights.

I cant really imagine that the Game cost $60 in the US and in EU only 35-40€

Well that's how it is! NA screwed as usual!
| mZuzek said: I really don't get the whole "not worth $60" thing. Come on, it has a full fleshed out single player campaign, the big level up system and customization/upgrading gear and stuff, some other things I'm forgetting about and 2 multiplayer modes with 5 probably excellent maps at launch. It might not be much, but I'm sure a lot of the people saying that are the same who bought Mario Kart 8 without a moment's hesitation. You know, I got 100% in that game in like, 2 days, and that's considering I was learning it from scratch as I hadn't played Mario Kart games before. It was very short on content compared to most games these days (and to some extent even compared to prior MK games), yet no one cared because it was Mario Kart and everyone knows how much it can keep us entertained for a long time. Splatoon has far more content (or at least variety of content) than MK8 at launch and will be a completely fleshed out experience for free in 3 months, while MK8 took twice as long to get its first DLC pack. |
You win this thread. My thoughts exactly.
OT, Demo convinced me to get the game day one. I just finished watching the Nintendo direct on Splatoon got me even more pumped for it.
Tifa got MOVES!

One of those is a boss fight and the other is (A) an early stage and (B) the video doesn't begin at the start of the level.
The campaign will be much longer than an hour and half, except maybe for speed runners.
I already pre-ordered it, but i will be somewhere else when the game arrives :( can first play it in june
Possible when it drops in price or I see a used copy.
Not a day one for me.
