me personally, i cant take shokio seriously after how much he complains about stuff. He's gotten to the point where I consider him on the same level as Blackbond D:

You don't find at least some of his complaints legitimate though?(Not just about Splatoon)

very very rarely. most of the time he over exaggerates stuff and then plays the ''well if this was third party, you would be doing ''insert thing here''

same pattern everytime.

I used to be subscribed to him awhile ago, prob over a year ago when his content was actually watchable, but then he turned into this little bitter cry baby about everything and get a pretty big ego when he tried to start his little movements gathering up his fans, which failed miserably.  I don't know, I just wish he'd go back to the way he used to do his videos. Everytime I see someone post one of his videos, all his videos usually end up the same way

Don't really care what he thinks, because I played the demo too and he doesn't have information I don't. Based on what I played, I'm still undecided. It's a fun game, but I'm not sure it has what it takes to keep me entertained long term. I didn't see the direct yet, so maybe there is something in there that will give me a nudge.

Day one for me

PSN : DarkLong213

I think everyone who played the demo has made their own decision. If you dont like the demo dont buy it and if you like it buy it. Watching/hearing his impression is really unnecessary.

Oh, this is a vid on Shokio's video... I thought this was another impressions thread... o:

Did you play it, alternine? ; )

No but from what I've seen it looks pretty fun. I just thought I could share some more information before people spend $60, 70$, etc on a game like this.

Will it be $60? Or is this Canada we are talking about? Sorry, don't have time to watch the video.

Also pretty sure your target audience has all the info on the game already.

You  need to see the Single Player, it looks amazing. Dunno how many levels there are though.

IGN says there are 28 levels.

They said that?

Yes in their NVC Podcast (Nintendo Voice Chat Podcast)

It's not a day one for me, but the price isn't the reason. Voice chat is a non-issue for me as well.

I don't get the restriction to two stages that shuffle every few hours. I hope that is eventually removed or at least expanded to more stages or less time between shuffles.

Basically if I bought this game at launch and went into multiplayer, there would be one game mode with two maps to play on. Don't think that's enough variety to keep me hooked for long. Sounds to me like it only needs a few weeks to, uh, ink-ubate (I apologize for nothing). Splatfest sounds cool. Reminds me of the old Everyone Votes channel on Wii.

EDIT: One thing that would help, and I don't know if anything about this was clarified, is if the two active maps were different for each game mode. So if maps A and B are the two currently being used for Turf War, C and D are being used for Splatzones. If that's the case it wouldn't be so bad, though I still think it's a stupid restriction. But yeah then I could see the game being worth a buy after a few weeks, by which point it should have 8 maps on at least two online modes, and the first Splatfest would be starting.
