There's still a long time for the Wii userbase in Europe to grow until SSBB launches here, which means that less than 12.8% attach rate will be enough.

No, they don't count for Ps3
X360 is selling a bit better than XB, but not too much to make a big difference.
Ps3 is selling a lot less than both PsX and Ps.
Wii is selling heaps more than N64 and GC.
Wii has an entirely different userbase than it did before.

nice, I entered my prediction this morning of 1.75 million I think.... hopefully I will be close.
as for Europe release, there is no way it will get to 1 million, Europe isn't the main lover of Smash, I think 600-800k seems about right for Europe (also Europe don't usually rush out as quickly to get it day 1, so it will still have an ok second week)

You can't make blanket statements like that though, it depends entirely on the game.
MP3 for instance hasn't done massively better than MP1 despite the Wiis userbase.... and GT5 will still do really well, because the type of people who play it are fanatics and will happily spend 400+Euros to get it... true it probably won't surpass GT4 (unless the PS3 really takes off casually) but it will still be comparable to it.
