America (only first day): 1250K SSBB out of 9730K Wiis = 12.8% Europe first day sales, if they are the same AR as in USA: 919K. Total sales needed throughout the week to beat Halo 3: 800K. So if Europe has the same attachment rate of day 1 as USA had, the game will need to sell 800 combined over both the areas, throughtout of the week. It will do that - but will 12.8% of all Wii owners in Europe buy SSBB on first day? |
There's still a long time for the Wii userbase in Europe to grow until SSBB launches here, which means that less than 12.8% attach rate will be enough.
