nice, I entered my prediction this morning of 1.75 million I think.... hopefully I will be close.
as for Europe release, there is no way it will get to 1 million, Europe isn't the main lover of Smash, I think 600-800k seems about right for Europe (also Europe don't usually rush out as quickly to get it day 1, so it will still have an ok second week)
