You can't make blanket statements like that though, it depends entirely on the game.
MP3 for instance hasn't done massively better than MP1 despite the Wiis userbase.... and GT5 will still do really well, because the type of people who play it are fanatics and will happily spend 400+Euros to get it... true it probably won't surpass GT4 (unless the PS3 really takes off casually) but it will still be comparable to it.
