Noooo Operation Babel bombed on Media Create too.

Vita better though.

What's that?

Oh and 21~22k for WiiU, not bad, right Boutros? :D

I'd say that P&D Super Flop Edition is dissapointed, but COMG hinted that long time ago, so, yeah. Might show some legs tho.

Now, I wasn't expecting that drop for Bravely, LTD might be lower than the first one :/

I don't know if it's not bad but that is indeed what I expected lol

Although I'm surprised Xenoblade is below 100k. I was thinking it could do 115k but oh well.

I was predicting 100k for XCX and 25K for WiiU. So I´m a bit dissapointed but not too much really. At least I was righ with WiiU (23k), kind of.

More, a lot of people were extremely sure that XCX would do over 100k.

But I'm also talking about hardware, in march the PS4 had several weeks above 40k and was always above 30k thanks to game releases, showing that the main thing missing for the system is the software support. This week is Golden week, the Wii U had 2 relatively big releases, one exclusive that came with a bundle, and the system can barely scratch past 20k and can only barely outdo the PS4, that's just really telling imo.

Well I recall materia Blade expecting at least 150k FW for Xenoblade.

But I'm not sure what kind of hardware numbers people were expecting. WiiU was down at around 6k usually, so 21k seems like a reasonable boost I think.

Well I think it's kinda unfair to use the prediction of the worst Nintendo predictor that we've had on this site as a representation for the general XCX prediction range, what I've seen was most people saying it would beat 100k for sure though.

With digital sales that sure isn't out of question. It would only need 15k digital sales, which would be 14.9% of total first week sales in the scenario that it sells 101k. That is about a 34% improvement over the first game's sales on a platform with a userbase of over 10 million in Japan.

just posted 35k FW for Wii U HW with Xenoblade weekend launch. so it didn't happen. but a 20k+ boost ain't bad.

I honestly very highly doubt that 15% of the people bought the game digital, especially considering its file size in comparison to the Wii Us harddrive size.

BloodBorne sold 15% in digital right?

I think XenoBlade is at 10%, so... maybe +95,000?

The game runs considerably better digitally, and while you can download optional patches to make the disc version better, you might as well download the game digitally in such a scenario. Considering the target userbase of this game, it isn't out of question to believe that a considerable number of people who buy digitally have an external HDD. And considering how Japanese have very fast internet speeds, download size would not be an issue there. Most games sell about 10% digitally in Japan, with the extra push for the digital version it isn't very unlikely that this game could sell 15% of its sales digitally.
