video pretty much sums it up showing the numbers, if you decide to boycott their games it wont change anything at all. Just makes things even worse.

For being the grandson of an ex-casino's janitor, definitely not. Legalizing gambling is funding the mafias.

It's more corporate now than it used to be, but you're right about it being a mess.

So? Having it illegal is just illogical. Let people bet on what they want to bet on. If people think something is going to happen and are willing to stake money on it they should have the right to do so. |
They have freedom to do so, just not through an official commerce.

So less completion for Fifa and EA = Good News.
And if the gambling law doesn't get passed? They just pissed away half their company's revenue....

Definitely! Not just them though, it would also be good for Sega and Football Manager, which in turn is good for me |
I thought competition is always good, though , especially when we are talking about about a company which bought all the rights to making American Football Games. This for EA is the peefect situation where their competitor has now bailed out of the race.
Also I highly doubt PES or FIFA are in any direct competition with Football manager. They are practically different games.
I knew it was like that. Its why Sega/Sammy has no issues with their game development anymore. They could go all casino and gambling and license their products for that anyway. Plus its a more reliable source of income. Can't believe that gambling would be more profitable than video games, but its true.
Well, if something isn't making as much money as a company wants it to, it could be cut... so that is likely the case.
Sad to hear, but these are still rumors..
