Forums - Movies & TV - Name Your Top Three Movie Endings

The Shawshank Redemption

There's just so many movies to choose from, so I'll make some honorable mentions.

No Country for Old Men

Honorable mentions:
Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs
The Searchers
Fight Club
The Thing (1982)

Dr. Strangelove

Did you know they made a sequel with an even better ending?

The Aviator.

Can only think of one right now. Will be back with more later.

"You should be banned. Youre clearly flaming the president and even his brother who you know nothing about. Dont be such a partisan hack"

Around the Network

Whiplash
Edge of Tomorrow
Goodwill Hunting

No particular order, but three movies I really enjoy.

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

As much as I love that movie it's one of the few great films that lacks a true ending... It's actually somewhat famous for that.

Obviously the scene with Luke and vader was wonderful, though.

The ending is famous because it's excellent. There are some scenes and then the credits roll; that's called an ending.

Who says an ending can't be a sequel hook? Or rather, that a sequel hook can't be an ending?

Metal Gear Solid 4
