Probably, and I think they *are* trying.  But in the meantime, they are FPS dependent in many ways. 

If pulled off correctly these premises could be great. Colour me intrigued

I'm actually getting excited for COD for the first time since Modern Warfare 3.

The thing that I like about treyarch is that they really put time and effort in the SP campaign. I haven't played AW though. Looking forward for more details about the SP and zombies.

I have little hope that momentum based movement will mean you start slower and have to work up to full sprint then take a second to slow down, but maybe as I think the dolphin dive was something treyarch brought into cod which i was okay with. The exo suits really didn't do much for me.

Solo mode I always get a kick out of, even if it's absurd. The gameplay is solid, which is something people forget about CoD.

The progression mode for Zombies has me intrigued but I still think that it won't be a Christmas purchase for me but of course I'll try it at a friends house first to see how it is.
